I’ve had quite the vacation from tbcoulson.blogspot.com, so it’s probably time I make up for it.
We are so incredibly blessed by a loving Heavenly Father and beloved Savior!!
We still reside in the Valley of Magic—and love it!
Troy was selected for an interview for Idaho State University’s College of Pharmacy. We have counted our blessings, thanked our Father in Heaven, and now—the journey begins! He will interview March 16th and then….it’s a matter of waiting for an email or letter of determination. Hopefully the letters come quickly because I am not very good at waiting patiently for
things like this!
Our cute little house has a new roof now. We’ve been fixing things
here and there…I’ll post some pictures sometime of the updates. It’s been a lot
of fun fixing up this little old house!

As for callings: Troy is still ward mission leader. I was released from Young Women
and called to be an assistant Bear Den leader. I realized I was definitely not meant to be a den
leader, but did my best. Our ward boundaries changed and we lost most of the
familiar faces in our ward. That brought a release for me and a new calling to teach the

4 year olds again. I love them!
Troy’s still working at Dick’s Pharmacy and plugging away at school work. I am thankful for a good man who is willing to study for hours on end to provide for and support our family. He’s

Pharmacy school. With all of my couponing madness we have quite the storage. I love walking downstairs and finding pretty much everything there! It’s one of the greatest feelings ever—
next to the one I have when I look at the cute man I married. How I love him!
Some of the people I see in the clinic have been saying things like,
“Man, I’m sure glad I’m not starting out in these days.”
“It’s a tough economy out there. Not much for you young ones.”
“Too bad for your generation, you’ve got it bad now.”
Maybe I’ve missed the breaking news or haven’t received the memo, but I feel very blessed. We have shelter, food, and each other. Our family is eternal. We have work enough to do. We have
blessings which take minutes—hours,even—to list.

I am grateful for these latter days. It’s exciting to watch as the time grows nearer for the
return of our beloved Savior, even Jesus Christ. Though we have had some heartbreak and some struggles in the past several months, I know I have much to be thankful for. I have good friends, good family, and a fabulous husband. We are healthy, which in our field of work, becomes something to count twice when counting blessings. We have a temple in our midst. It’s only a couple of miles away. Since decreasing the number of hours I spend at work, I’ve been able to
spend more time in the Temple. What great peace, counsel, and wisdom we receive there. It truly is Heaven on Earth!
